This album is my original interpretation of those incidental and themed pieces of music used during the 70's & 80's TV films/shows. I never set out to follow up on Electric Cinema, as that album was a compilation of ideas that came from making a portfolio in 2013. So why this one?

Sadly I lost my Dad at the end of August this year. The grief process is different for everyone, with no right or wrong way to deal with it. Having an amazing supportive wife is a real blessing and I can't truly convey in words how grateful I am to have around me. Equally important is my family that shared this grief. The other thing I have, is the ability to create music. Whatever I was going to come up with wasn't going to be based on the emotions I was feeling, but instead based on those early memories of watching those shows back in the day with him. It became apparent that this was going to be the case as half the album was written in 8 days and followed this genre. The whole album was written in a month with enough time left over to mix and master. I obviously have endless fond memories of him than just watching these shows.

So think Battlestar Galactica, Dallas, Six Million Dollar Man, The Rockford Files, Wonder Woman, The A-Team, Chips, Magnum PI, Columbo, Starsky & Hutch, Superman, The Streets Of San Francisco, Charlies Angels, and you get the picture. Not just the main themes, but the incidental music like on the stakeouts etc. Also thrown into the mix will be a bit of John Barry, Henry Mancini and even Ennio Morricone.

Making this album was a great healing process for me, especially the laughter I had writing 'Slinky'. You'll know where when you hear it.
